Aegina ( Αίγινα ):
The island is the most known for its pistachios. Vines, almonds, olives and figs are also cultivated on Aegina's fertile plains.
The southern part of the island is rugged and mountainous.
Poros( Πόρος )
Poros consists of two islands Sphairia and Kalaureia.
The landscape is hilly, mountainous with rich vegetation.
The island was often raided by pirates during the Middle Ages.
Hydra ( Υδρα ):
The automobiles are not permitted on the island. Donkeys and water taxis are used for public transportation.
Hydra takes its name from ancient springs. However the springs are dry now and island's water is imported by boat from the mainland.
