Mount Wilson (5,446 feet) in The Black Mountains.

A 4.6 mile round trip hike with approximately 2,500 feet of elevation gain in Mount Wilson Wilderness, near Lake Mead in Arizona.

This is the most prominent mountain range in the Hoover Dam area. The terrain is rugged and there are no trails. Daytime temperatures during the summer months exceed 100 degrees. The best time to do this hike is between October 1 and April 30.
