Teotihuacán, Mexico- the site of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon

Tour out of Mexico City to one of the world's most impressive archaeological sites of pre-Aztec civilization. The settlement of this site began around B.C 200. The ethnic identity of Teotihuacan's inhabitants is not known as no writing system has been discovered there.

The city was named Teotihuacán ( "Birthplace of the Gods") by the Aztecs many centuries after its demise.
